The department offers programmes that address acquisition and development of skills, attitudes and knowledge for professional practice in the areas of clinical pharmacy, industrial pharmacy, community pharmacy and research. The training equips students with a strong base of skills to support health care facilities and in advanced pharmaceutical research, and prepares them to adapt to changes that may occur during their careers.

Career prospects: We train pharmaceutical technologists capable of working in Hospital Pharmacies, Community Pharmacies, Pharmaceutical Companies, Drug regulatory agencies (Pharmacy and Poisons Board), educational and research institutions.
