In the recently concluded TIVET principals' Annual Conference, the officials of the Principals Association prevailed upon the board to extend the deadline for the application of the TIVET Students Bursary for 2011-2012 Financial year. However, by end of August 2012, the uptake of this bursary was less than 50% of the targeted application. I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that the Higher Education Loans Board is pleased to invite more students from your respective institution(s) to apply for the TIVET Bursary Application. The deadline for applications is October 31, 2012. Meanwhile, we shall soon visit your institution for familiarization and appreciation of our new found partnership as we prepare for a HELB/TIVET Principals Consultative Workshop planned to take place before the end of the year.
