  • Collection of nomination papers from Assistant dean of Students office [Block D] on 15th October, 2012 as from 09.00 a.m.
  • Returning of duly completed nomination papers and election rules/regulations form to Assistant dean of Students office [Block D] on or before 18th October, 2012 by 10.00 a.m.
  • Clearing of nomination papers by dean office on 19th October, 2012
  • Vetting of all candidates by electoral committee on 19th October, 2012 and names pinned on the notice boards.
  • 23rd October, 2012 - Address by Deputy Principal - TLS in the Main Hall from 3.00 p.m. (ALL ASPIRANTS)
  • Campaigns 24th October, 2012

  • ELECTION VENUE -  We have 10 Polling Stations
  • Date and time - 25th October, 2012 from 9.00a.m. – 3.00p.m.
  • Candidates agents - Maximum of 2 (two) per candidates on each polling station and whose names must be submitted in writing to the returning officer [give the names to Assistant dean of Students office [Block D] by Monday 12.30pm, 22nd October, 2012
  • Voters - All bona fide members i.e. students who are fully paid up members of the union
  • Mode of voting – Secret ballot
  • Ballot papers will be issued to the voters on the Election Day
  • Counting of votes will commence immediately the voting is completed by the residing officer
  • Witnessing of vote counting only two agents per candidate allowed/polling station
  • Declaration of results immediately the vote counting is completed

26th October 2012 - Women’s Hostel from (6.00 p.m -8.00 p.m)

Tuesday 30th October 2012 - Swearing in ceremony of newly elected officials at the Main Hall as per the institution at 10.00am
