KPUC Complies With National Cohesion and Integration Act

THE Kenya Polytechnic University College (KPUC) has complied with the National Cohesion and Integration Act, 2008, following the submission of the report on the Ethnic Profile of the University College. This comes at a time when the debate on the need for public institutions to reflect the face of Kenya in terms of staffing is raging on. The Commission demands for meritocracy, transparency and accountability in every institution.

In a letter signed by the Commission Secretary Hassan S. Mohamed and addressed to the KPUC Principal Prof. Francis Aduol, National Cohesion and Integration Commission has stated that the ethnic composition of all the employees in KPUC complies with the NCI Act, 2008 because no single ethnic group comprises more than a third of the total workforce.
